About Daily Composite
Read the news. Know the bias.
Our Mission
Daily Composite was built on a simple premise: the news you read shapes how you think, and most readers don't know they're getting a particular angle. We aggregate headlines from across the political spectrum — left, center, and right — and layer on AI-powered bias analysis so you can see the framing, not just the facts.
We don't tell you what to think. We show you who's telling you what to think, and how.
How It Works
Every 30 minutes our system pulls fresh articles from 40+ RSS feeds spanning major national outlets, international sources, and specialty publications across politics, economy, technology, science, health, sports, and entertainment.
Each article is analyzed by four leading AI models — Claude (Anthropic), GPT-4o (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), and Grok (xAI) — which independently score the article's ideological framing on a 1–5 scale:
- 1 — Strongly progressive / left-leaning
- 2 — Moderately progressive / left-leaning
- 3 — Neutral / balanced / centrist
- 4 — Moderately conservative / right-leaning
- 5 — Strongly conservative / right-leaning
The four scores are averaged into a consensus rating. You can also check any article or URL yourself using our free Bias Checker tool.
For more detail, see our full methodology page.
Editorial Independence
Daily Composite is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with, funded by, or editorially directed by any news organization, political party, or advocacy group.
The bias scores displayed are generated entirely by AI models. We do not manually adjust, curate, or suppress scores based on political considerations. The AI models themselves may have inherent biases — which is why we use four different models and display the consensus alongside individual scores.
Advertising revenue may be present on the site via Google AdSense. Advertisers have no influence over our editorial choices, source selection, or bias scores.
Our Sources
We aggregate from 40+ RSS feeds including BBC News, Reuters, AP News, NPR, CNN, Fox News, Politico, The Hill, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, CNBC, MarketWatch, TechCrunch, The Verge, ESPN, and more. We aim to represent a balanced range of ideological perspectives.
All content remains the property of its original publisher. Daily Composite links to source articles and displays only headline, excerpt, and image as provided in the publisher's RSS feed.
